Did these come packaged with any other bots? I have a Soundwave, but don’t have any Throttlebots and don’t remember what it came with. I do have a minibot (Brawn).
Yes they would have came with some minibots I believe, so likely Brawn. I still have my original Brawn!
@@8ByteBrian here’s the thing, I do have a mini spy which I’ve seen examples online of carded vintage Brawn’s being packaged with. So, it’s a bit of a mystery about the Decoy.
@@jasoncorganbrown There were later release minibots around this time as well(Brawn alone had 3 different versions)the decoys didn't sell all that well & I think a lot of carded examples don't remain as a result.
Why not night stalker and Jitsu in the vintage one lol
The trains never came with track The tender is not matched to the steamer The loco and baggage car (green car) and observation car (orange car) are from the set king of the rails A blue normal passenger car and correct tender come with it too The tender you have is from an 1800s steamer set There's a freight set and a diesel passenger set too
Thanks for the info! What exactly is the "tender"?
We all knew then they only retooled the Comic Action Heroes figures to have the straight legs.
I haven't been there in 2 decades, used to do Christmas shopping at the Flea Market.
This was the attack trak we had as a kid. I think ours was the opposite colors of yours though. Yeah the plastic was even sensitive back then too. But it was a fun toy and neat concept. Build your vehicle! Now I’ve been 3D printing some…full circle 😅
Awesome 👍🏻
I had a few of these back in the day I’m a 70’s baby so I had the original just a cool toy brings back a lot of memories🥰
I had this Rock Tour one growing up and have thought about it since. So was really cool to see this video and remember how it looked. I wish I still had it!

Enjoyed seeing the Thundercats sword, although this show was not part of my generation.
I used to have a bunch of these!!!! I had the pods too! They were fun af! I had a few rare crystal ones too
I miss magazines. So much is only online, love the physical media days.
What he is doing is making the connection tighter thus removing the ZIF design. It's not recommended.
Fun fact: They were sold in booster packs in Japan and Europe, (one per booster), which made it way harder to collect them all because you'd never know which one you'd get. They were called "Aqua Balls" in France, and おっぺけぺ in Japan.
There was totally a plate, I remember
I used to play this on the computer at my old job in the 90s. Fedex terminal ran on qbasic.
and it looks like you have the 'better'/more rare Jawa w/the cloth cape instead of plastic . . . .
Were these the original water game toys before we got a bunch of generic bootleg water game toys?
Yes I believe Tomy made the first ones.
poor transformation and style? i actually always thought the small gobots had better features and many of them had much better, more complex and interesting transformations than the minibots.... the super-gobots mostly were weaker than the normal sized transformers though... although super go bot leader 1 was way better than most of the decepticon jets... i think gobots gets a lot of unwarranted hate :(.. as a child i definitely enjoyed playing with the smaller gobots more than the deformed and simple transformations of the minibots
Anybody know who designed this? I am currently building a 1/6th version for fun, check my instagram @keatonkohl
I remember the commercial for these, but never understood anything about them til recently
Marion Ravenwood was a spunky, street smart character in Raiders of the Lost Ark(1981). It was a "mixed blessing" when she appeared in Crystal Skull in 2008.
Kip Kangaroo was voiced by Nancy Cartwright (voice of Bart Simpson)
Please make spme more videos
Takara should've released this Diaclone-colored Devastator sometimes after the release of the Encore Devastator and make it an Autobot, the Constructibots...
Funny when it first started. Had only five characters. Kim was added later. I have the hallmark windup Bogy. Was IMB before glue wore off and card way damaged but toy in great shape. Interesting Scooby-Doo type show. Solving mystery. Shirt turn red to hide who they wear. Ranger who took care of him didn’t recognize them while their shirt was red. It’s what I remember. In short. 80s show.
I’ve had Cherokee since 1985. I got several of these for Christmas, and space vehicles which I used in my sand pit for several years . I eventually moved on to transformers, and Gi Joes. My very favorite toys though around that time were Jayce and the Wheeled warriors . Very very rare toys…
Just found my one that my folks had kept. But needs a major restoration - the red one with the canopy on. My brother had this black one. So, if anybody has more detail one these, please let me know. 🤞
I think this one is from the line -Re-moto-bots . I had a similar robot called “pow-r-bots” back in the 80s as a kid.
Just picked one of these players up along with 25 discs. Thought I was buying laserdiscs so I was a little confused. Thank you so much for the detailed explanations.
The first video game I remember ever playing, back in my elementary school's computer lab.
Thanks for the memory! 1980 I made family crazy. classic mode lvl 4 had 3 sequences of 99. I finally beat one sequence and was working on second when game was banned from house 😅
Definitely appreciated the few vendors selling vintage Legos. You hardly ever see vintage Lego at toy shows for some strange reason.
Did anyone have any sealed Visionaries?
I think there may have been some boxed Visionairies but I can't remember. Definitely some accessories though.
Yeah i saw the accessories, I just want a sealed figure :) Loved the mask figures too and the candy!!@@8ByteBrian
Yeah the candy table was a cool surprise, so many throwbacks!
Would one of these actually fit in a Walkman? Just curious.... lol
I never knew these existed until I saw someone post about them on Facebook. We grew up with VCR tapes. My mother had a music record player. Of course cassettes. But no one I knew had one of these.
So that's what these are called! I had a few of the color change ones as a kid. In fact I still have 3 of them.
M best friend had a ton of these. Super fun. I loved that dome of the ground vehicles could load onto transport ships could
I wish you could do a video with Sandstinger!
This was one of my favourite toys I had this exact same one ❤
Great video mate & awesome job on repairing the G.I. Joes too
I remember when these came out! I believe that the difference in the vehicle color had to do with available coloring or something. Perhaps it was a random redesign. They had the blue "windshields" with the Laser Force stickers at first. The red/orange windshields came out later, like a 2nd generation.
I had the red 1 😅 got in 86 on Christmas from Kindergarten teacher
I actually remember seeing this set for sale as a kid at Zellers.
I had these when I was a kid! I've been looking for them for-friggen-EVER! Thank you!
Hercules graphics? I miss those days...
I remember owning these but their colors were different. The top one was red and gold chrome, while the bottom one was blue and gold chrome.
What was the price on that back then?
My brother and I played with these for years
